But what kind of property can I get for under €200,000 along the Costa del Sol?
Location is the most defining factor when it comes to a property along the Costa del Sol. Put simply, the closer you are to the sea, the more expensive the home is likely to be. However, if you are after a one- or two-bedroom property, then you are going to find a suitable apartment easily. Furthermore, many of the apartments listed here come with features such as being relatively newly built, being in a gated community, a wonderful terrace, air-conditioning, and access to a communal pool – all for under €200,000. If you are moving as a couple to Spain, it could not be a better fit. If you are small family wanting to buy a holiday home, then maybe a small property would work for the summer, so long as you can all run down gleefully to the beach.
Alternatively, if you don’t mind a thirty minute or so drive to the coast, then you are going to be able to find a property for less than €100,000. Often, these properties also benefit from lovely gardens of fruit trees and views of the mountains. You’ll find a tranquil atmosphere in these homes.
