This is all in a drive to boost the local economy. It is similar to an initiative launched by Italy that offered a financial incentive for people to purchase property in Presicce-Acquarica, Puglia.
This initiative is not aimed at home buyers. Instead, to receive the £2,600, you have to live in Ponga for at least five years.
